A flea market is held on the Saturday preceding Labor Day. The next Flea Market will be on September 2, 2017 at a location to be determined.

The Tewksbury Garden Tour, an idea conceived by the late J. Miller Craig, is the 2nd Saturday in June. In 2017 the Society will partner with the Garden Club of the Hunterdon Hills to hold a Tewksbury House & Garden Tour. Ticket holders can visit the interiors of homes and gardens.  Now called the Tewksbury House & Garden Tour, jointly sponsored with the Garden Club of Hunterdon Hills, will be on Sat. June 10, 2017, rain or shine.

In July of every even numbered year, the Society, along with the Tewksbury Trail Association, sponsors a Tewksbury Barn Tour. Barns include new and old, working and dormant, and those still maintaining livestock. The next Barn Tour will be in 2018.

The Tewksbury Art Show is our largest fundraiser. It brings many members and volunteers together to register over 140 artists from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut who enter over 325 pieces of art, all of which is for sale.  The Art Show will be September 29 through October 7, 2017.

The Tewksbury Antique Show is always the 1st full weekend in December at the Old Turnpike School on Old Turnpike Road (County Route 517) in the Fairmount section of Tewksbury.  Dealers come from the tri-state area.  The Show is managed by Bob Lutz and Ellen Katona.  All dealers spaces are sold out months in advance. The next show will be December 2 & 3, 2017.

Society Headquarters is located at 60 Water Street in Mountainville. We're in a portion of the old Municipal Building/Mountainville Meeting Hall, which we lease from the Township of Tewksbury.
Currently our museum is open on select Saturdays and by appointment. Check the calendar for days and times we're open. The current displays are on the Rockaway Valley Railroad, the restored Stryker Dollhouse, and original vintage wines from the former Tewksbury Winery.  Call us at 908-832-6734 to schedule an appointment.

The Society acquired in 2014 the former Township Garage on James Street in Oldwick.  Plans are to use the building as an archives and storage facility and restore it to the Carriage House that it once was. It will be called the Oldwick Carriage House and is located at 5 James Street.  The Society completed an exterior restoration project in 2016, returning the building to its former glory with a new roof, repaired siding, new windows and painting.
